Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries announces a newly appointed Executive Director. Tomme Maier is an alumnus to UNCW and has a great passion to serve and encourage others experiencing adversity especially in Duplin County where she was born and raised. Tomme has extensive experience in nonprofit work, social services, advocacy and ministry leadership and currently volunteers in the Beyond These Walls food pantry at Pathway Church in Beulaville.
Family and friends hold a special place in her heart. Tomme resides near her parents Tom and Marie Houston, she has one brother Timothy, and she especially loves being mom to her children Kaylen, Jude, Avry, Rebekah Grace and Kyle. Tomme is also โMemaโ to Cadance, Jonas, Kaleb and Ayden. And she loves to spoil her fur babies Jubilee and Ruthie.
She enjoys teaching Bible study in Life group, enjoys serving at Java & Jesus with Pathway Primetimers, loves teaching K-2 in Pathway Kids, and is always willing to lend a heart and hand to those in need.
Tomme is honored, excited, and appreciative to serve this ministry and our Duplin County Community. โ I look forward to working with others to grow our long-term impact into the homes and hearts we will serve and I desire that each individual comes to know the Love of Christ and the Power of Community.โ
